Yelena Yurievna Khomutinnikova

Born in 1957 in Naro-Fominsk in Moscow region. She currently resides in the village of Fedoskino.

In 1977 Elena finished the Art School, where she studied under Gennadiy Ivanovich Larishchev and Sergey Petrovich Rogatov.

Yelena Yurievna is a member of the Artists' Union of Russia and Lenin Komsomol Prize laureate. The painter was awarded diplomas, certificates of honor, and medals. At present she works both at the factory and at home.

Khomutinnikova paints in the traditions of Fedoskino lacquered miniature, using all colors in her pieces. The artist is interested in depicting fairy-tales' subjects.

Upon starting a new article, Yelena tries to catch visually sight of her idea, and she considers a piece to be finished when its design, idea are finally formed.

As most of masters, Yelena has her personal technical methods of painting. The author believes admirers of her creative work will remember detailed paintings, forms of wares, themes, colors, paints, and execution of her pieces.

In free time Yelena Yurievna likes to bring up her son, to take care of her garden and house.

She would like admirers of her art will never regret they have bought her works, will like her caskets, and she hopes her miniatures will help them in live.
