Ephimova Svetlana Gennadievna was born in 1964 in the town of Dmitrov, where she resides at present.
In 1983 the artist finished the Fedoskino Art School. Her teacher was Igor Alexandrovich Evmenenko.
Now Svetlana Gennadievna works at the Fedoskino factory of miniature painting. She works in the style of Fedoskino miniature using oil paints. Her favorite themes to depict are portraits, genre scenes and fairy-tales.
Beginning to work, the artist intents to create an interesting composition. Finishes painting, when she likes the result.
Svetlana Gennadievna uses in painting traditional Fedoskino methods. It’s possible to distinguish her works owing to peculiar painting technique. In her opinion people will appreciate her compositions for detailed painting, precise drawing and execution of high quality.
In average the master works on a miniature from a month to half a year.

In her free time Svetlana Gennadievna grows flowers, keeps house and looks after her children.
