Kovalyova Nina Sergeevna (1966 - ...)  Click to play

Kovalyova Nina Sergeevna was born in 1966 in the village of Aksakovo, Moscow Region.

In 1985 the artist graduated from the Fedoskino Art School. Her teacher was V.D. Antonov. Kovalyova's diploma work was called "Boyaryshnia near the fence".

At present the artist works at the Fedoskino factory.

Nina Sergeevna paints in the traditions of Fedoskino lacquered miniature, using oil paints. She is interested in painting fairy-tales' and genre subjects. Especially, the artist likes to depict loving couples, dreamy girls and lads.

Nina Sergeevna prefers to work with bright colors.

She thinks that the most important elements in her work are choice of themes and mood to work. Setting to a new work, the painter intends to transmit mood and feelings of characters with the help of artistic means. Finishes her work on a composition when she likes the result.

Kovalyova thinks the admirers of her creative works most probably estimate interesting themes and beautiful color treatment in her work.

On the average, the artist spends 15-20 hours on making a piece.

In free time Nina Sergeevna keeps house, goes in for market-gardening and reads.

She wishes admires of her creative work cheerful mood, good health, happiness and wish to be good to people.

She says: "Be beloved and love each other".
