Kasatkina Tatyana Sergeevna (1980 - ...)  Click to play

Kasatkina Tatyana Sergeevna was born in 1980 in the town of Yuzha, Ivanovo Region, where she resides at present.

In 2000 the artist finished the Kholuy Art School. Her teacher was Yolkin Viktor Alexandrovich. T.S. Kasatkina's diploma work was a composition "Ludmilla in the Chernomor's garden".

At present Tatyana Sergeevna works at the Kholuy Craft Workshops.

The artist paints in the style of Kholuy lacquered miniature art, using tempera paints. She paints on a variety of themes, but prefers to depict fairy-tales and architecture.

Tatyana Sergeevna thinks that the most important elements in her works are compositional structure and color scheme. She prefers to paint her compositions in warm and mellow tones.

Beginning to work, Tatyana Sergeevna intends to do it so that people will like a future composition. Finishes painting, after putting all last strokes.

The artist uses in painting her personal artistic methods. Her works are notable for original manner of painting and high quality of execution.

Paintings of such prominent artists as Vasnetsov and Bilibin had a great influence on T.S. Kasatkina's creative work.

In her free time the artist likes to read and listen to the music.
