Oleg Vladimirovich Golovinkov

Born in 1963 in the village of Katlur, where he currently lives.

Oleg graduated from the Art School in 1986, he studied under A.F. Shchukin, B.P. Gorodnik, V.S. Kulgavov, and V.N. Frolov. Golovinkov's diploma work was a miniature called "The Slaughter with Mamay".

The author works in the traditions of Fedoskino School, he prefers oil paints. For the most part Oleg creates compositions on fairy-tales' subjects. He uses Dutch colors in work. Pieces by the artist are exposed in the museum of Fedoskino factory.

As Oleg says, the most important aspect in his compositions is subject. Starting a new miniature, the master tries to accomplish as qualitative as he can, and he considers work to be finished only when he likes it completely.

Oleg, as most of the painters, has his own art techniques. It is possible to distinguish his pieces from others by their subject. Golovinkov holds that admirers of his creative work will estimate at their true worth and will remember such components of his miniatures as detailed paintings, theme, colors, paints, and overall execution.

In free time Oleg prefers simply to rest.

He would like admirers of the fine arts to be more fastidious and generous.
