Soloninkin Nikolay Mikhailovich was born in 1946 in Ryazan District of Russia .
In 1964 he graduated from Fedoskino Art School by the guidance of his teachers: Vetrov Ivan Fedorovich and Davidov Pavel Semenovich.
Soloninkin has been working at Fedoskino Factory since 1964.
Since 1965 he is a regular participant of Russian and International exhibits, where his works have won him many prestigious awards. His wonderful compositions are pictured in almost every major book on Fedoskino lacquer miniature painting.
A member of the Union of Russian Artists, the People’s Artist of Russia, the winner of the National Prize of Russia.
He is the author of the portraits of famous cosmonauts, commanders and politicians. His works are represented in Russian museums and private collections world-wide.
At a present time Nikolay Soloninkin lives in the village of Fedoskino.
