Dogadin Alexander Mikhailovich was born in 1944 in the village of Mstera.

In 1962 the artist graduated from the Mstera Art School where he studied under guidance of such prominent masters as Klykov, B.N. Lyubomudrov and N.T. Dmitriev. His thesis work was entitled "Snowstorm".

At present Alexander Mikhailovich works at the Mstera Center of lacquer miniature art.

His works are kept in many museums such as the Russian Museum in St. Petersburg, the All-Russia Museum of Decorative, Applied and Folk Art in Moscow, the Art Museum-Preserve in Vladimir, the Museum of the Mstera Center of lacquer miniature art.

Molodkin's pieces reflect his preference in painting fairy-tales, bylinas, historic subjects, literature, folklore, genre and everyday scenes.

The artist considers that his individual devices in painting are gold ornament and "lessirovka". The creative work of such great masters as Leonardo and Rafael influenced his paintings.

Dogadin thinks that the most important traits in his works are love, humanity, virtue, kindness and sense of calmness.

The artist considers a painting to be finished if he likes it and all his artistic ideas are realized.

In his spare time Alexander Mikhailovich Dogadin likes to study cultural heritage of different nations.

The artist wishes to his admires health, prosperity and love for Russian Art and people.
