Shchadrin Alexander Dmitriyevich (1925 - 1987)  Click to play

Alexander Schadrin was born in Mstera in 1925. He attended the Mstera Vocational Art School from 1941 to 1942 and then resumed his studies from 1945 to 1947. He studied lacquer miniature art under such artists as N. Klykov and I. Fomichov. In 1951, he was first notice for creating new and original compositions and for the development of new painting techniques.

Schadrin became a member of the Proletarian Art Artel in 1974. However, he didn't join the USSR Union of Artists until 1975. He has participated in art exhibitions throughout his career.
