The master is interested in painting on themes of fairy-tales, epic songs, folklore, Slavic history, war, and genre scenes. Belozerov considers detailed painting, thoroughness of execution as well as sincerity to be basis elements in his artwork. Upon beginning a new masterpiece, the artist tries to fill with love to future article in order that this box itself can radiate love and warmth.

Yuriy Ivanovich believes each work dictates its color schemes, and every time only nature is reference point for the painter. The master thinks an artist can work on a miniature endlessly, but he finishes his boxes of necessity. His pieces are distinguished from others by unity of expression, melody, and rhythm. Belozerov hopes his artwork has its admirers.

In his spare time Yuriy likes to gather mushrooms, to take care after his kitchen garden, to ski, and to repair his car.

To admirers of lacquer miniatures he wishes joy, health, harmony with nature and people, charity, and repentance of sins.
