Bayov Andrey Vladimirovich was born in the village of Mosta, Ivanovo Region. At present he lives in the village of Kholuy.

In 1981 Andrey Vladimirovich finished the Kholuy Art School. His teachers were Belov V.A., Denisov N.N.

A.V. Bayov's original works include:

The artist paints in the style of Kholuy lacquered miniature, using tempera paints. Themes of his artworks: fairy-tales and lyrics. His favorite work is "Vasilisa the Beautiful".

Andrey Vladimirovich thinks the most important elements in his works are color treatment and drawing itself. Beginning to paint a new composition he intends to show all his professional skill to satisfy the requirements of his clients.

The artist prefers to paint his miniatures in "noble" tones, applying his personal artistic methods. Owing to the artist's individual hand, fine brush mastery and clear compositions people will easy recognize his artworks.

Andrey Vladimirovich has chosen his profession because he likes to paint since his childhood. The works of his second cousin N.M. Shvetsov had an influence on A.V. Bayov's works.

In his free time the artist likes to walk in the forest.
